Bread Toy

A fun toy your bird can turn into crumbs!

What you need:

  • Part of a day old loaf of French Bread (baguette)
  • Cutting board & Bread knife (band saw would also work)
  • Shish-kabob stick (as pictured) or a screw with eye hole at end

Instructions:

1. Take the bread and cut it into pieces (about ¼ to ½). It’s best after the outside has gotten hard and the inside is no longer soft.

2. Put the cut rounds through the shish-kabob stick

3. Place in your bird’s cage so they can make a huge mess! It will be lots of fun for them and they get a little treat at the same time.
